80-Ton Modular Aluminium Ferry System

Designed for the rapid crossing of wide water obstacles, this modular ferry system is capable of transporting all tracked and wheeled vehicles weighing up to 80 tonnes.

The ferry features a lightweight yet robust all-aluminium construction, making it highly durable, corrosion-resistant, and easy to transport. Thanks to its modular design, the complete system can be disassembled and packed into standard shipping containers for efficient worldwide transport and storage.

The ferry consists of:

• Four main pontoon sections
• Four bow pontoon sections
• Four buoyancy sections
• Four hydraulically operated loading ramps

The four main pontoon sections form the load-bearing centre of the ferry, with buoyancy sections mounted on each side and bow pontoon sections with loading ramps positioned at both ends. All vehicle loads are supported by the central main pontoon sections.

Propulsion & Performance

The ferry is powered by four independent 120 HP diesel engines, each driving a Gill waterjet propulsion unit. These axial-flow waterjets provide excellent manoeuvrability and can rotate 360°, allowing precise steering even in confined waterways.
