Its sleek, low-profile design permits the AP8800SDA aircraft pushback tractor to operate in the tightest environments, yet handle nearly every make of aircraft in its weight capacity.
LEKTRO’s AP8850SDA is capable of towing even a fully-loaded DC-9 and most other aircraft down to single-engine trainers. With the elimination of towbars, the LEKTRO AP8850SDA can maneuver in areas never thought of with conventional aircraft tugs, indoors or outside. In many cases, LEKTROs overall length is less than the length of the towbar alone and can operate totally within the aircraft’s footprint. The AP88 series low profile design also allows for under fuselage and low-wing maneuvering. Dual 36-volt standard commercially-available motive batteries permit extended operation and can easily be charged for 24-hour, non-stop use.
